Version 1.2.2 Patch Notes for Hunters of Path of Exile Items

Path of Exile’s Patch 1.2.2 is now live. With it come several modifications that affect Hideouts and Mictrotransaction POE Items. The Masters added by the latest mini-expansion have also been tweaked by the patch. The patch also adjusted numerous aspects of the game as well as fixed multiple bugs.

Microtransaction Path of Exile items in Hideouts

The new patch integrates pets with the Hideout system. Now, players can unleash a pet into their haven. To do this, they simply need to open their Microtransaction stash and right-click on the pet item. Afterwards, they simply need to click anywhere in their Hideout. Players can have as many pets they want to roam their Hideout until they are reclaimed for storage.

Another Microtransaction related change introduced by the patch is the use of portal effects. When using the Map Device, the portals created will now also apply Microtransaction portal effects. Note that players do not need to buy an extra portal effect for their Map Device.

Masters and Path of Exile items

As detailed in the Forsaken Masters mini-expansion, the Masters will periodically have their craftable mods expanded. Patch 1.2.2 delivers on that promise with the addition of new craftable mods. The Armourer’s Workbench, Bowmaker’s Tools, Headstones, Sharpening Wheel and Blessing Font will receive new mods for players to add to their items. These mods are special modifiers that cannot be obtained through Path of Exile orbs.

In addition to the crafters mods, Masters can now also sell Hideout décor while they are in town. The character of course needs to have a Hideout before a Master will sell these items.

Other fixes for collectors of Path of Exile items

The patch includes several other fixes for the game included but not limited to the following:

  • Fix for Frost wall not dealing damage to unpushed targets
  • Fix for Arc not chaining off targets with no corpse
  • Locomancer achievement can now be completed
  • Haku’s crafting mod can now apply Enlighten, Empower or Enchance
